Just decided to share this. I can't even really think of the words to express this video. You must believe in Jesus or there is not Christmas? Since when has Christmas ever been about Jesus, or religion at that? It's suppose to be about being nice and giving gift, something which should not be reserved for one day out of 365, yet it's about getting the best garbage and commercialism.

Why do you think Christmas was started? Why do you think there's shitloads of Nativity scenes out on people lawns? Because it's a Christian holiday.

Does not really have anything to do with other religions but just reminds me of how some people are fanatics about the beliefs they have adopted. Said catholic over the video anyways.

i heard christians stated this as jesus' birthday because a jewish holiday was on that date, and they didnt want jews to be mocked and all that from catholics and others. i heard is birthday is actually in the summer, but hey waht do i know?

That is great... And yes Christmas may be "Jesus'" birthday but all it is is another day to sell crap. Kind of like Valentines Day?

Some people do not give gifts, in our family we meet and have a meal together, but thats it.

Kinda annoyed my girlfriend, but oh well.

christ was not born on that day. the reason why christmas is on december 24 (i think thats the date) is b/c the pope wanted to attract the pagan worshipers. he made it coincide with their winter festival.
if you look closely in the bible, at like the references to sheep and the stars, that puts the date to more of around april (have to check later) when jesus was born.

Some people do not beleive he was born at all.That Jesus of Nazareth was merely a prophet,and not the fortold Christ.
Christmas is very comercial yes.This is human nature and greed,but has little to do with religious folks.
I am religious,I celebrate Christmas for a few reasons.To give note to who I think the Son of God is.

To give my kids loot(that is where comercial comes in)
To decorate a pretty tree(this is a pagan practice btw)

To cook loads of food and see family.

I'm not religious but I still give/get gifts, see family and eat a lot.
I called it loot because not only do I give gifts wraped with bows,but also I give money to pick out clothes they want.I can not always judge what they may want in clothing,and so I give gift certificates and cash.
Spending 30$ on clothes they hate is rather pointless.
