Yeah, you should have more than one kind of shield for pvp as stated by exorcise.

I would use spirit. I mean because of the Resist 2 skill FHR...

But Yeah use SS when your fighting againsts Melee :)

How about Darkforce instead of the spirit?
If your pvp and you have lets say... 1 to dec from white and you have your golem + master and resist..
You can get a 3/3/3 darkforce and it has a nice fcr mod. Why do you want Fhr when fighting spell casters?
100% go with SS when fighting with melee, i would use "ber" though
And i know spirit has fcr too, but you get better mods from dark and same fcr

For gloves use trangs,

Fact is that you shouldnt even let barb's get near you theyre move's are visibly clear because of slow fcr with main weapons and with spirit and trangs you'll be alot faster 7k bone speak will rip through a barb but i tend to use Spector on my necro cause it homes in, but using anything else but spirit is a BIG mistake
