Whilst screwing around with ArtMoney and d2, I have discovered a secret to infinite mana!! Muahahahaha... no, seriously:

*SOON TO BE EDITED WITH YOUTUBE VIDEO, DOESN'T SEEM TO WANT TO SHOW*

Step 1: Download ArtMoney (can't link it)

Step 2: Make/join any game in Diablo 2.

Step 3: In ArtMoney, press Search, and ensure your settings are as follows:

Search: "Exact Value"

Value: (put the amount of mana you have here)

Type: "Integer"

Address Range: "ALL"

--

Step 4: You should get _alot_ of results, so do something to change the amount of mana you have. Usually switching weapons will change your mana.

Step 5: Now, press filter, same settings, but where you would put your original amount of mana, put the changed amount.

Step 6: Repeat steps 4 - 5.

Step 7: You should have somewhere between 1-5 results. Barbs seem to return 5 seperate values and Paladins seem to return only one. I couldn't confirm that though.

Step 8: Press the green arrow, right click every value and select Edit. Near the bottom, select the drop down menu. Select "Can Increase" and click the check box to the right (the one that says "Force").

Step 9: If all this worked out right, you should be able to charge, whirlwind, hammer, whatever for as long as you're allowed on the computer :D

The link for download is at the reason for edit.

Just did this and it looks like a client-side only effect.

Erh, no, I think you're not doing it completely right:

artmoney only works on open or single player, i have been using it for a while, its very similar to CE aka Cheat Engine, but this does not work on closed.

Yeah I got it to do that also but see those wws at the end their only client-side if you try to hit someone it will not damage them.

Warden detects memory changes.

No, it doesn't. It detects if the integer used to store GOLD changes. Not mana or health.

Try it, modify your gold then try to drop it.

i ran a series of tests. i used d2loader with 2 windowed diablo 2's running. I did as you said, and used the skill Lightning to drain my mana. on the window where i changed the mana, i could keep casting lightning forever. on the other window with a diferent character, i saw her stop casting, she had run out of mana. it gives the illusion to the player that their mana is constantly refilling, but in reality it is not. there was however, some strange desynching things with the sorceress teleporting. she could teleport as far as she wanted on the modified mana d2 window, but on the second window she would be standing in place when her mana was empty. when her mana finally refilled enough to be able to cast teleport, she seemed to vanish on window 2, and appear where she seemed to be on window 1. it was almost as though she desynched, and resynched where she appeared to be on window 1. very interesting. i also tested this with life, and when the sorceress would die, her max life seemed to double, but that was only on the character who i had edited. she still would die in 2 hits to the opposing character, which in this case was a zeal paladin.

Same thing with WW I've also experienced this.
