I have been recently playing on Open Battle.net and I found out that there was a group of characters with random names going around saying they are Beta Testing for a new hacking program called "Star Hack". They say that Star Hack is the best tool ever, what they do is they bring you into a private game which they tell you about in random channels. In the game they will demand for you to drop your best item, though they will tell you that they are strictly ordered from star hack not to pick up the item. They say that once you have dropped the item they will trigger the hacking process which will morph your item into one of the best. Though what they do, is they take your items. Be aware of these scammers.

Anyway, that's not as bad as those bomb charms.

On open? You can just create a lvl 99 character with the best items ever with an editor...

Yeah...sometimes I think if you get scammed by some of these tricks, you deserve to have your items taken from you.

Scams can be nasty... but you fell for one of the less thoughtful ones.. The worse scam i've ever had was that I was tradeing my anni and me and this guy went to a secure area... then when he dropped his items and I dropped my anni.. D2 froze up and closed.. he made it away with my anni.. stupid hackers.. lol.... Atleast you cant pop anymore.. so many newbs use to fall for that stuff LOL

The bit about "you can't pop anymore".....yes you can, just not using the pvp out-of-town methods. "Popping" items takes place once in a while. A good thing is that I don't "pop" people, and I do know how to do it, but I won't tell :P :D

Playing open legit is like asking to go to prison. Its dumb. If you're going to play legit go play closed ladder, much better. Buuuuuuut, if you want, thre is a utility out there where if you're the game creator on open, it will delete all hacked items off other players ^ ^.

Wat exactly is this bomb charm??? lol sounds funny:o They are hex edited and contain illegal characters (for example ASCII), so once you pick one up, you can't use your character anymore.

And you can't remove them with character editors, you need to use hex editor.

Full Inv up, Go out side of town, another pseron drops a iteam on ground, player with full inv Hits "I" to oipen inv pics up iteam so it is floating, other player kills him. Then
He kills him 15 times again, Then the player with full inv pics up His mane Body with 15 bodys on grond and he gets killed again, OOPS he poped. This is caused buy to many bodys with Full inv player Cna't pic up the rest of his body
