i have been looking threw the threads at es/orb build and hav seen every variation of life:mana so i am asking u now what is the best way to go and why and whatever the poll say i will be doing....i have a 75 es right now but am looking to improve it so dont worry about that

ps would a liught mastry skill be usefull i i plan on putting a skill into thunderstorm?

Some into life the rest into mana with surd Whistans guard and proper skill and equip setup rape the **** out of melee the only way they could possibly kill a great es orb sorc is with ow or poison, otherwise they can just sit and tank that shit, but to be perfectly honest, I dont like sorcs there all easy to own in pvp just slap on some sorb and its all over but in gm pvp there pretty nice duelers.

Es orb sorcs don't use spirit, they either use Whistans or up'd Viscuraunt shield. I'd use Whistans if I made a es orb sorc though.

wats whistans? ive been looking on arreat and cant find it.... is it s arune word or unique or rare or magic?

I voted 1:4 for es sorcs. Whistans is a set item shield thats used among es sorcs because of its very high block.

ya i loked at whistans and i think ill stick wit spirit for the skill and manna/vita bonuses

I think es without max block is kind of pointless, since your going es with spirit I'd probably just go pure vit instead.

no the point is so u dont have to block it cuz ur dmg goes to energy not vita .... my build will have 3k mana and have 95% es so i wont need max block ... plus max block on sorc is like 150 dex or sumthing.... and there are ppl in duels u cant even block like wind druid and smite and casters

Wrong. In fact, max block is pretty useless for ES, because you can tank like hell anyway. Think about it, if you go ES you are wasting a lot of mana to get more DEX. It's stupid. And Spirit is one of the best ES shields out there.

No. Infinity on a sorc (especially PvP) is retarded.

Infinity mainly helps light sorcs and light trappers. Kinda odd how someone mentions it for a Cold sorc. Especially when the debate is more about the ES part anyhow rolleyes:

energy gives more mana than vitality gives life. plus u have 95% es, u need all the mana u can get. 3k ain't enough
