Well what was the main reason you boguht crackdown?

i bought it for my bro so we could try out the halo 3
but apparently his 360 "mysteriously" dissappeared cuz of his roomate...

Maybe I'm mistaken, but didn't the halo3 beta get pushed back?

I will never buy it..and the only game I play consistantly is FFXI online.
One of my kids has the X-box...another has the PS-2
the last has all the other game systems...I pretty much rule the computer.

yeah i think so, on bungie it says that the time when you can start is TBD as well as the amount of time you are allowed to play. So not only do you have to wait a long time to play it, but can only play it for a small amount of time

are you saying it didnt deliver. this is a really good game, dont know how you could say that.

I'm not say that the game play isn't awesome. All though I don't own the game I've played it and it is quite entertaining. But, they added a selling point that the halo3 beta would be playable when you bought it...and it's not. So, they may have delivered a great game, but not the h3 that a lot of people were hoping for. And, in case your wonder, I don't really care much about halo3. I'll play it till the disc has vanished into dust when it comes out, but I'm not going to get worked up while I await its arrival.

If you missed the other two methods of getting into the Halo 3 Beta,
the entire first shipment of Crackdown will have a free key into the
Beta. Yes, this does mean that a pre-order guarantees a Beta key.
2.)
You do not get instant access into the Beta upon release of Crackdown.
You still have to wait for the Beta to be released on Live Marketplace
later this Spring.
3.) It has been confirmed that the Beta key is encoded on the disc itself, not on a scratch card or anything of the like."

i thinks thats a bad lie, or you cant play it after h3 releases.

i was going to purchase crackdown for hte beta but forgot to :P
and yeah you get the liek stuff saying you get teh beta but you sitll ahve to wait till like may when it coems out heh :S

If its a beta test they are not going to let you play it forever. It's not the same thing as a demo. Beta is only going to be there to help find bugs.
