I love my Xbox. I don't have an HDTV, a next gen system or even a very good comp. I love my Xbox though. The main reason I do is because I have it modded, so I can have nearly any game I want for free... Pirated of course but between me and you ARRR MATEY!... I love the games that I have and probably will love many more I haven't yet played. I just love being able to put anything on the harddrive with nothing more than CuteFTP and an ethernet cable. Even though I don't have Xbox Live because I dont have a credit card I can play XbConnect... Xbox was clearly the superior system out of XB/PS2/GC wars. 360 just doesn't do the same thing for me. Xbox was ahead of it's time I guess.

I wish i still had my xbox. It was great other than the stupid controller,i hated that thing.

Xbox was great, and in the end it was the better of the three systems. But keep in mind that ps2 was way ahead of its time. It came out several years before the xbox.

I have to agree that the original xbox was a way better system than the 360 is.

Yea, besides Gears of War, Im still playing halo 2 on the 360. So right now I am not too happy with my purchase of the 360. However I know that in the not so distant future it will be a worthwhile purchase.

I'm currently waiting for Mass Effect, that game will be the shit. Any game with a sniper rifle that catches people on fire when you hit them instantly becomes one of my favorite games. Plus it has sweet graphics and badass dark energy moves.

I don't think that gears of war was really that great of a game. The truth is i have only liked 2 games that have come out for the 360 so far.

Gears of War is more of a Campaign FPS, rather than Halo, Which solely relies on multiplayer and Live.

Once you play the storyline of Halo and beat it you have to go online and kick some azz ... Its .. The. Way.. Of.. Life..

Yeah KOTOR owns but Halo single player sucks. There are alot of good games single player on Xbox (Morrowind for sure) and it is still fun to play. If you have one and its not modded you need to mod it. It's not hard to find a softmod guide, but I want to put a bigger HD in mine lol.

i want to softmod mine but i can't get the SC save or the means to transfer to xbox :(. and morrowind isn't that good (better on pc than xbox) beacuse it's too open. GTA: SA is keeping me busy at the moment so yay :) (only thing bugging me about it is how f***ing hard it is to do the vehicle export since it's damn near impossible to find some of the cars.

why do you guys hate games campaign. is it because you suck at it? halo/halo2's campaign was awsesome. doesnt mean i hate multiplayer, i love gears and halo's multiplayer. but you guys going all out on a games campaign just shows you dont know anything about it.

What a common response to that kind of shit, "Is it because you suck at it?" pfft, if you sucked at Halo's campaign mode, you should just quit gaming. Those campaigns are by far, some of the easiest single player mode games out there. Legendary was a breeze.
