I have to vote for Star Trek due to the "love story" we were all subjected to in more recent SW films. Really that was some of the dryest most forced dialog ever. Lucas can do a lot of things, love stories apparently not among them.

Oh yeah, and R2 units and lasers would get totally pwned by all of ST except maybe the wussies from Enterprise.

as i recall the star wars ships are much much more powerful than anything the star trek as ( exept mabye for Q) for all we know it dosnt have an energy sheild.. board the ship and steal thier techology!

and the feds can take the ship out just fine.. they *****ing klingons want a major victory agansit an uber ship.... and there allies

1. every fighter has sheilds
2. you cannot board a ship that is specificly designed for a single pilot
3. by the time they run out of ammo your fleet have been destroyed by superior weaponry or a second squadren are replacing the first for rearmament

you still dont understand that your star trek is being owned by fighter craft and not the actual fleet of ships which easily out number the fed's

Dude, if one fighter can destroy a Federation ship in one shot do you think they need numbers on their side? And my point with the Arc Hammer is a ship with an unlimited supply of fighters. You can go ahead and try boarding the ship if you can make it to one.

and one more thing (if you've seen emperors cloak from DS9 ships that fly insanely close often cant get shot but what do i know? a single ship rammed the thing and it blew up...i think

the borg do not have large numbers of ships. they depend on the strength of their ships, not strength of numbers. which is why 1 cube > a fleet of starships.

want proof? look at wolf 359, the battle in the movie First Contact. The only way the ship in wolf 359 was defeated was by a boarding party, and the only way the ship in the movie was defeated was by Picard hearing the borg collective and hearing where they were weak. At any given time the borg fleet numbers in the low hundreds, including smaller ships, not just cubes. (but not including scout craft).

The main borg ship was a square wasn't it? I mean how lame is that?
