On the ps3 wi-fi whats the connection strength?
Is it 802.11 b/g?? How strong is that O_o o_O I'm in a basement,and my ps3 will be on a table.The main router is directly upstairs.

It should work, I have the same set up at my place and I haven't had any connection issues since the day it came out.

if its wifi its not the strengh of the PS3 signal you need to worry about, its how far it is and the strenght of your router, i can't think of the speeds and memory loads off hand (long day) but the higher then nuber the stronger, but from experance with my 360 its 50-60 feet away from my router and no lag issues at all, hope that helped

Well then you have to take into consideration who/what is using your Wireless signal. Many people steal from their neighbors.

Unless people make a password haha.
Yeah my router uses a password when it didnt have one I always use to see some weird ass computer name on Shared Folders and Other Computers in Network..etc lol
