Hey, my tutorial will teach you how to make a C4D Render, obviously with Cinema 4D...
If you see something similar to this, its probably because I learned off of a tutorial and im telling what I learned.
Well lets get started.

First, click the little box in the corner of your document so we can see all 4 view points.

Now use the Freehand Spline to just randomly scribble around in the top right box, and the 2 bottom boxes.

You should now have them all combined in the top left box and 3 spline moves.

Now make a loft nurb, and put all of your 3 splines in it.

Now, make a bend, adjust your settings to whatever you want, and now put it in the loft nurb.
Then make a buldge, adjust to whatever, and put in the loft nurb.
Now make an Explosion FX, and put it into your loft nurb, then adjust it to whatever...

After that, make a hyper nurb, then take your loft nurb with all of its content in it and move it into the hyper nurb.

Now make a null object and put your hyper nurb with all of its contents in it and move it into the nulll object.

Now save it as whatever and you are done! Hope you enjoyed
Heres my result.

wonder how that would look as a brush in PS. Abstract render doesnt necessarily mean you just randomly do stuff btw.

I never said it did, in order to make a shape for the c4d render you would have to just randomly do things with the spline tool.
But Im pretty sure that there are other ways.

What I've always wanted to know is how to get those into my signatures. I do not have C4D but there are alot of C4D renders out there. Some (only one that I've seen) has the Paths I can just take out and leave the render by itself. Others have no paths and force me to ditch the C4D all together.

I dont quite get what your saying Hymn, if your talking about how some have bg's and some are transparent, the ones with bg's are ones that go into your signature then you can just add an effect and erase the bg with a nice softbrush so you dont see big bulk chunks. I can make a transparent C4D im just to lazy to set it to .png laugh:

My bad, I forgot to mention that I don't turn off any RBG Channels (In your layers box. The tab next to Layers and Paths). There is supposed to be another channel to hide everything except the C4D render. It is too time consuming and nearly impossible to render a complex C4D on your own in Photoshop.
