I would probably go for the Wii on this one. Graphic-wise, I know for sure PS3 is better (being that it shines in the hardware department), but overall I'd personally probably go for the Wii in it's revolutionary controller (which outperforms the other next-gen) and it's lower price.

Wii, gameplay is over graphics, the difference isn't that big. Wii is also the cheapest. For the ps3 you need to buy some extra stuff and put it on the ps3 or pay 100 more for the internet, and xbox you need xbox live. The Wii has internet built in with its normal package too.

not to mention on the Wii you can download the whole history of nintendo games ;)

if i had to buy a blu-ray player, id buy a ps3 instead, seeing as its cheaper than a standard blu-ray.

In my opinion, Wii>Ps3. Wii is truely the next generation in gaming. Motion Sensor gaming at home instead of playing some crappy game in arcades? Ownage if you ask me. The affordable price is also what makes the wii top over the ps3 despite the better graphics. Its like what Bartender said, gameplay is over graphics.

Yeah but I don't think that you can use motion sensors on all the games and it is kinda glitchy, not as good as wii's motion sensor but your right.

PS3 is not.. Its almost the same as Xbox 360..
They are selling the same games..
The only difference is that ur Xbox 360 games wont work in a PS3..
Wii has exclusive games.. Exclusive gameplay.. Exclusive design.. And best of all.. its cheaper console and cheaper games..

Horrible design, horrible price, maybe its haves an hd.. But i think its silly.. If ur too lazy to swap ur disces.. Buy a PS3.. And 4 USB ports.. What are they used for.. If ur too fat to lift ur arm.. Get a PS3..

But it's only turn right and turn left, nothing big. The only reason I would ever buy the ps3 would be if Konami and other big game companies convinced Sony to lower the price like they did in Japan, then I would get Mgs4

all i have to say on this is that you gaming freaks take console systems way too hard. Ps3 vs 360 or Ps3 vs Wii or Wii vs 360 is like a major debate against you people. Guess what, THERE IS NO RIGHT OR PERFECT SYSTEM. it's all based on personal prefrence. So stop trying to force people to buy the system that you want them to buy and let that person buy what they want to buy. My opnion is that ps3 is better because after nintendo screwed up mario games i left that scene. Ps3 has better titles that i like so im going with ps3

I think the Wii itself is one badass system, I'm just not a big fan of all Nintendo games. For me it's like Res Evil, Zelda, Mario, and Super Smash Bros. If it had Gears of War on it I'd go buy it right this instant. <3 that game.

i was thinking the exact same thing. Only like 4 games nintendo has are worth the money/play time (SSB Melee pwns hoes). I dont think that the wii will last that long. It is ''revolutionary'' in a way i guess but as soon as the ps3's price gets a little lower it will be more popular thats teh only reason people are buying the wii....i hate the damn thing.
