question:
doom & storm sheild
or:
hoto & spirit

this is for a element wind druid with sage
i have both just need to know whats better.

i'd always go for the fcr weapons, cuz it does u no good if u move slow. but with doom and ss, u could holy freeze them and would slow em down a bit....

i still would go with hoto + spirit

hoto and spirit is WAY better than doom and ss (doom is worthless IMO)
you can also mix it up by using the hoto and ss for barbs or zons

how about spirit + spirit.

Doom Berserker Axe: I have seen some Druids that use Doom as their main weapon for dueling, so I decided to try it myself. Doom gives you 2 things:
Holy Freeze: This makes your enemies IAS and FHR breakpoints slower. Can be useful versus some characters (especially Smiters), but you will lose a lot of FCR, and will therefore have to use complete FCR equipment (Circlet, Amulet, 2xRing, Arach, Trang’s) and you will seriously be hurting for FHR. It won’t be of much use vs. Casters, since you will have to give up on the 163%FCR breakpoint. I tried using Doom for a while, but then ended up going back for HOTO.
-%enemy cold resist: The -%cr on Doom makes your Hurricane extremely effective, especially against those that play really defensively and have concentrated on DR% instead of cold resist. Very useful, however not so useful vs people with Ravens or stacked cold resists. If getting Doom, definately get one with high -%cr, other stats don't matter.

Anyway, I would definately go for a HOTO, but Doom is nice to have in stash for a little fun. I would have to admit that HOTO is way more useful, though.

The good thing about doom is that if you have a holy freeze merc aswell then the aura stack with it and with hurrcanes damage and dooms - resi you do serious damage in pvm even on players 8. Almost any monster should be a 1 hit kill with aura.

I Think Doom Is The Over All Better Choice.
Doom Totally Slows Everything Down Making It Easy To Own Everything.
There Is The Merc With Holy Freeze, But Id Rather Get A Act 2 HELL Defence Aura Merc And Have Higher Defence.
