scloader2a is a newer version of scloader. It is totally independent of starcaft version, and now able to load .mpq (mod) and .dll files to any version of starcraft. Works as a no-cd loader as well. Its size grew from 5K to 78K cause it contains an embedded mini install.exe (72K) file, so you must only copy it to your sc directory and start it to play starcraft without the cd.

Of course you should not use mpq loading and dll files on BNET, but no cd loader works fine. By the way, there are lots of maphackers and other cheaters on bnet, who play happily without being banned.

Mpq modding and dll loading should not be unknown things in the hacking section of a forum. Ppl who dont know what dll loading means, simply dont use it. Ppl who know what it is good for wont use it on bnet without care. Thats all.

This loader is not a cheat, rather a useful tool that can be used as a no-cd loader, .dll loader and .mpq mod loader with ***ANY*** version of starcraft. its a hack but not a cheat, and we are in the hack forum my friend. Cheats bring extra functionality for you in the game helping you to win easier. Scloader alone is not a cheat, but can help you to load cheat DLLs with the -dll parameter.

Someone playz more gamez, and she/he doesn't want to replacing CDs all the time, and doesn't want to see hundreds of virtual cd drives. Lots of ppl use the first version of the loader and they like it.

If you dont like it, then dont use it. Iam not intrested in who trusts who and such topics, if you have so many time just go and pull other's leg in the forum not mine. the only negative content I want to see in the thread is error report not trust-not-trust shit. if you still want to continue post craps here the show some real reasons instead of "I trust dt, and I dont trust you". The loader is safe. Its only 6KB + a mini special shrinked install mpq data appended to the end of the file. There is no spyware or other crap in it, but you can decompile and see it yourself if you want. It was tested under win95/98, winNT4 and winXP with multiple sc versions.

sc loader is a third party program, but is safe because it doesnt harm other peoples gameplay online, much like d2loader. i for one use inhale and never got banned.

Stupid virus scanners write these warnings for a lot of programs. Especially when it is exe-packed like scloader2a, cause exe-packers work in a similar way that viruses. :P
Infected, and suspicious file are two different things. A suspicious file is not unconditionally infected.

Hey Xeno I downloaded your loader and am now using it. But forgive me I'm noob at third party programs. So is this loader supposed to do all the things a CD itself would? Cuz I don't get the background music and I can't play the campaigns.
