im new to this site and its been a while since ive played d2. i just dled the hero editor and i want to know the correct place to download the file so it works for single player. and when i do get it in correctly what do i do to get it running in single player? thanks

you can install it anywhere. just remember when you click open for a character file you look in the save folder which is located inside your diablo 2 folder. its an editor so it runs seperate from diablo 2 and changes wont show if your character is currently in game. youd have to be using a different character or not on diablo 2 to save the changes.
