Ok, I don know if I put this in the right area so I am sorrie if it is not. I need with with the expantion chara that are located in the download area. Do they get loaded when you start d2 or is there something that you need to do to be able to get them there???

yeah go to your diablo2 place click on characters they should be there right? if they are then it should work.. if they arent there well you have no characters .. but you can just get hero editor and make the same exact character

That is why I am aksing because they didnt show up when I opened my d2 chara screen......I have just downloaded the hero and mabye that well answer all my question's (Hopefully)

I have just opened it and it is telling me I dont have d2 located on my computer

Drag all of the files that go with the characters into your "save" folder in your Diablo 2 Directory (directory should be like 'C/Program Files/Diablo 2' or something like that). After you do this the characters should work for ya in Single Player or Open B.net.

Yes that is correct. What has happened is that I moved the files over to my d2 folder and then opened d2.net (On closed) and the chara's where not there.

Then I took the advice to download the hero editor V.96 and I started to get the error in the above post.

....you cant play the download chars on closed bnet....
