Alessandro Del Piero and Fabio Grosso scored two wonderful late goals to break German hearts and send Italy into the 2006 World Cup final. With just two minutes of extra-time remaining and the game seemingly set for a nerve-wracking penalty shootout fullback Grosso finally broke the deadlock before Del Piero added the gloss to make it 2-0 with the very last kick of the game.

Wonderful game if you missed it..but very heartbroken for Germany. :p

But goodjob Itlay..You deserved it.

I think Italy was lucky on this match. I dont want to flame Italy I like Italian players but...2 mins before the end and they score 2 goals? Anyway good match and gz to both countries.

Italy kind of hustled Germany, because most games Italy plays defensive, this game was more offensive I noticed.
