How it works..

Its basically goes like this.. Depending on the Consule (FAT,SLIM) you hook it up (your ethernet cord) to your "Network Adapter"

Fat: Sold Seperatly
Slim: Comes with it

Then plug it into your Modem//Router (must be Broadband) then you have a Online Setup Disk.. use it.. follow the instructions.. If you need more help just im me on AIM: xxslipjohnxx

I play online. And no not every game works online, but 90% do.

Note: most old games don't.

If you buy an old online game and you want to play online, ask around before you get it, some games have servers still up but nobody bothers to play.

Sony's Online system is pretty shitty however, the developers have to run their own servers, and it's pretty much crap compared to Xbox Live because you make a new username for every game, so you can almost never find friends again unless they notified you of their name on the other game.

Kinda pointless as I don't even use my ps2 online for anything besides AR updates, and the only game I'd use regular Xbox live for is Halo 2.

(Xbox 360 has more good online games, however)

yea I wish PS2 had the same usernames for each game so that you could find your friends, but they do only for like games made by the same company.

For example: NHL 2k7, NBA 2k6, College Hoops 2k5, etc. Since they are all 2k products, you can use a username for all those gmaes even though they are different years and different games.

Not for games like Socom though. It was all different.

that sux and also is weird they would do that.. especially with such a popular game. Maybe they thought that people playing #1 might not move on to #2, hmm that is weird...
