DO you consider graffiti an art?

some graffitti is very cool and considered art, but most of em are just some 12 year olds who think they're gangsta if they take a spray paint can and start sprayin "****" on a wall..

I consider it as art. But I dont like the graffiti when its just scribbles and no one can understand it

Depends on the Graffiti. Gang related graffiti is not art, or atleast I don't consider it to be.

However some Graffiti is good and should be considered art.

I think grafiti is an art, some of it is good and some of it sucks. Even tho its illegal, whenever i see a train pass by and i see it i laugh lol

yeah trains are common targets for graffiti

Also highways look better with nice pieces then boring grey or beige sound barriers

I helped my two other friends write a speech in downtown Boston. I have to take a picture of it. It basically compares America to a communist proganda filled government.

Here in brooklyn, alot of people spray paint mural's and angel theme's for 9/11 victims. Really nice artwork, Its not uncommon to see one every block on at least one store. Graffiti can be an artform, but the gang's always make a bad name for it

grafitti is art because its the expression of ones self through painting, although illegal it is still considered art, most grafitti is really good until you get into the gang stuff
