hi i am really wanting to make a mf sorc that is ice because my firewall sorc pretty much sucks now :( so can someone tell me a good mf sorc build ? thanks!

What are you planing on mfing? All around, pure meph or pinlde or what?

well i heard meph is the best to mf but thats wut i heard, maybe if u can tell me which mf drops the best things then maybe i will lean torwards that.

Well.. if you are going to do just meph/pindle, I suggest a blizzard sorc, I'm sure there are blizz sorc mf guides out there if you look but basically, max cold mastery, blizz, and as mny synergies as you can. As for stats, enough str and dex for items, until you get probly around 300-400 energy with items, and the rest into vita. An act 2 nm defensive merc, he will have holy freeze which will help a ton.

Pit runes would be good to, but for that you need a little stronger set up, not pure dmg. You should prob go with meph and pindle, meph drops more offen but pindle has a possablitity to drop better items.

ya some guy was quitting diablo 2 and he gave me all the Mfing Elite items! i dont remember all of the names but i can sign onto diablo 2 right now and tell u them

Strength- Enough for items
Dex- Enough for items

Recomended Items
Helm- Shako

Shield- Ryme rune word shield with low str req.
Gloves- Chance Gaurds
Belt- Gold Rap
Rings- Negel Rings or better magic mf rings

Charms- Gheeds GC, around 10 mfsc's

Merc
This is a key, because he will be able to tank dmg and you wont.
Act 2 nightmare defensive merc. He has holy freeze aura which will help alot. Bone hew as a wepon or crypt reaver, shaft stop or upgraded shaftstop for armor (for dr), and what ever helm you like with damage reduce. But make sure you are the one thatfinishes meph, or kills pindle because he has no mf. If you want you can take off his wpn that will prevent him from killing.

There you have it, I came up with it in like 10 mins so plz don't critisize if you don't like.

And put a P topaz in the armor and helm, or an ist if you can afford it, and an ist or mf jewel in wpn.

Haha, not a prob, make sure your merc is good n strong, max res and good dr will help V mephy and pindle. Make sure he is the same lvl as you when you start mfin, if he isn't go lvl him till he is, or a high lvl at lease. I would say 75+.

one problem. lets say your merc is a low level and cant survive in hell mode. then you run across those various cold immune monsters in act 1 and so on. what do you do then? there are some monsters you cant run away from because it's part of a quest.

this is why putting something into fireball just for the little fire dmg it gives will save you. same idea as putting some into frozen orb when the rest is fire.

ya meph is good for mf i had 200 mf and i found 2 arachnid meshes 2 valors and all kinds of other good stuff and if u figure out the pattern to the durance u can do runs in 1-2 mins each thats what i do:D

or you can just skip figuring out the patterns and use maphack :-P

unless u already know the pattern and u can do it just as fast as people with mh:D then u dont run the risk of getting banned and have all that mfing time wasted
