OK here is what I have come up with for best PvP light sorc... No critisizm plz...

Skills
20 Lightning
20 Light Mastery
20 Nova
20 Chain Light
1 Tele
1 Mana Shield
1 Warmth
Charged Bolt= The rest until maxed (lvl 94 is when it is possable to complete this skill set up)

Gear
Amulet- Maras
Helm- Grifons Eye With Light Facet/ Um
Shield- SS With Hel or -15 req Jewel with good res/+str/+dex
Wepon- Good Eschutas with Light Facet
Belt- Spider Sash
Rings- 2x Sojs
Boots- Any with good +str +dex, pref with res
Gloves- Frost Burn Gauntlets(will explain in a sec)
Armor- Chains of honor ( with low str pref.)
Second Wep- Cta+Lidless
Invitory- 10x light gcs (pref with +life) 9x 20 Life scs (+5 all res if you can afford) 1x Anhi

Stats
Str- Just enough for items, +str items help alot
Des- Just Enough for max block, +dex items help alot
Vita- NONE!
Energy- REST! This is the thing- you get much more mana per stat in energy than life in vita, so using mana shield (lvl 23 from +skills is 79% absorb, you won't run out of health befor mana) and all the items with this set up you will have around 5K mana and dmg will go there so it will take the place of your life!!! Life from items and cta will be all you need.

Merc
Act 2 Nm Defensive (holy freeze will make any one an e z target)
Bone Hew for wpn (pref. eth)
Eth Coh or Stone for Armor
Coa with what ever siuts you in sockets

Your lightning dmg skill will be around 40k... THIS IS NOT A WEAK BUILD! I have checked most of this stuf so plz don't tell me I am rong unless you KNOW for sure i am.

As for In hell, there is about an even bit of light, fire, and cold res monsters, because the monsters in each place is RANDOM in dif games! A good merc will help with this or you can just make new game and hope the same monsters arnt there.

is the minimum of lightning damage matter for PVP ...
and what strategy you use in PVP

maybe static and blot might help , thats what my top 100 light sorc used

In PvP your main skill is Lightning, it will do the 35k+ dmg, tele around with your merc till they froze, and blast them (they won't stant mny hits with tht dmg), or if they can tele, try to get a name lock and keep castin, they will get hit eventually.

Not bad.. I'm not found of light sorcs in PvM. :) And I don't duel, so.. :P

Ya PvM the only really good option is Fire Ball/Meteor and Orb sorc. But this is the highes dmg element the sorc can get :D.

im gonna check out the 40k dmg lightning up there... ill get back to you on that.

EDIT: ok upon inspection (following your guide exactly) lightning only does around 21k.

Your rong, I have used the skill calculator... you must include all the +skills and + light dmg...

i used a skill calculator also, and i did add the +to all skills and the +light gc's

Plz don't post bs on my guide, for all who don't believe me, check out this page (http://www.d2items.com/skills.html) and punch it in for yourself, +14 all skills, and +10 light skills, max lightning all the synergies, and light mastery...

Don't bother with calculators, test it out yourself.

Thats 40k WITHOUT the +light dmg...

thats exactly where i went, but how did you come up with +14 to all skills?

ok i re-did it and this time i got 28-30101 dmg for lightning. your still off.

Griffons eye-1, Eshutas-3, 2x Soj-2, Arachnid-1, Coh-2, Maras-2, Cta-1, Anhi-1 I was forgeting I was using grifons eye and not shako, so it's +13 all skills and +10 light skills, it is still over 35k :p , sry about that.
