which necro is best for pvp and/or pvm?

IMO Boner is best for PvP. PvM is poison or skellyMaster

Bone, they can go hybrids with poison/bone as well my friend has one and its quite effective.

Bone works fairly well for keyrunning also. Though, I've never seen a nec good ag MF or anything like that.

if you get the right gear poison is awesome for pvp, just nova them to 1 hp and let ur fire golem finish them off

I think a good boner;) is best for pvp. And a poison bone hybrid is best for pvm.

Bone = best PvP

For PvM, summoners are overrated. Poison necros still need someone to give the last hit, so mac out Poison Nova + synergies (only 60 pts). Then max out skele mastery, 1 point in everything else in Summon Tree, 1 in Corpse Explosion and rest in Raise Skeleton.

I think that Bone necs are not very good at PvM, by the way.

Bone necros are about as slow as PvM as Summoners are. When I was finishing out the quests you have to use prision so damn much... and if you didn't have nigma then its twice as slow.

Depends on who you are duelling and how you duel. You may be able to get some newbs that have barely adequate equipment, and Iron Maiden some melee chars (BM), but any caster will rip your army apart in 1-2 spells.

Summoners by far, my last ladder season summoner killed everyone except for FOHers. Most people can't even get near me. Its quick killing someone with Lower Resist + 23 Mages + 23 1k Damage Skeles + 1 Clay golem + a pile of revives. Its simply not possible to kill summoners without a whole pile of skills.

i'll kill a summoner and his entire army with 1 hammer or 1 fb...1 WW would do it too, or 1 tornado, or 1 chain lightning, or 1 lightning, or 1 orb, or 1 blizz if it actually hits, same with meteor, high level hurricane can probably eat up the army in 1-2 hits too

You hit with range from mages when fighting hammers. FB doesn't hit all in the area of splash for skeles (try it yourself), WW'ers are screwed with iron maiden. Tornado chain lit, and all those spells except meteor don't hit all. Meteor you can easily dodge.

if you had just tellyed and a fb hit your pack of guys, all of them would be in splash range and die...iron maiden is BM. the spells dont need to hit every single minion as long as they hit the necro himself...and if not, what are you going to do? run away and get more minions?
