can somebody tell me how to download brushes? i think i know sites to download them from but what do i do with them, extract them into a folder in ps? and how do i acess them?

i wanna start helping people on another website make sigs for members(we're new) so i gotta get some brushes and read up on tutorials.

Ok, id say the best place for brushes is www.deviantart.com (http://www.deviantart.com). Download them from there and read this.

Zipped Folders
If the brushes you download have a folder its going to be zipped of course. So unzip it and there should be a .abr file in there. Take that and move it to your photoshop folder. Default - Start> My computer> (C:)> Program Files> Adobe> Adobe photoshop (what ever version) So anyway, now once you open up photoshop select your brush tool and go to the select brush thingy. Then click on the lil arrow thats there and click load brushes. Now browse your brushes and double click and there you go.

Regular No-Folder
If it doesent have a folder just move the .abr to the photoshop folder that you have and do everything else that is up top.

Nope, I believe you can actually put it anywhere you want to browse them but I find it easy to locate them in your photoshop folder.

No dude, although they can work. But just download the brushes and read the unzip and no folder thing up there. And put the dled .abr file in the photoshop folder.

Try ALT-E or ALT-A.. and if those dont work try dragigng it from winrar to the folder. Try dragging it first.

i don't like winrar. i got to set it so its not my defualt or whatever anymore. and i'll try that.
