I play games that show my ping, even for diablo instance, what # is like really bad lag isnt it like 1-50 cable? 50-200 dsl? 200-? for dial up? I dont know this just wandering any help at all?

It depends on the game. With Diablo II you cannot go under 15 ping.

15-100 = DSL, but it can be more, I've had up to 170, it also depends on your location. If your on the east coast and playing on USWest then your gonna have a higher ping.

I'm on the west coast, if i play on USWest I get 16 ping, if I play on east I get 76 (On average)

Dial up is anywhere from 100 - 200 in channels, 150+ in game.

Yea anything above 200 your lagging usually.

I quit diablo around autumn last year, and I remember that I used to have around ~50 ping, but now it's usually close to 200. Really annoying, PvP is hopeless.

i play a game and if a person has 30ping they can't play in the game because it crashes the whole thing so they get booted. i think its when 2 ips clash or something. is there something special about 30ping for everywhere or just that game?
