Lately people with free e-mail accounts such as @aol.com are not receiving the activation e-mail that the forums send out. This message is used to validate that you haven’t used a bogus address to sign up with and also to activate your account… There is no apparent way around this at the moment other than for you (unregistered members) to sign-up with something other than @aol.com. Hotmail works fine I’ve been assured, however you could just sign-up for a free @d2sector.net address at http://www.d2sector.net/mail/ that’s sure to work :p
Alternately you can contact me via spitfire (at) d2sector (dot) net and tell me the account you tried to sign-up with that didn’t receive the e-mail.
