I was wondering how to make a PvP cold sorc....So far this is what skills that i think i should use..

20 ice bolt
20 ice blast
20 glacial spike
20 blizzard
rest into cold mastery

plz help

I wouldn't suggest blizzard for PvP since it'll be a b*tch to land. Orb will hit more often than blizzard.

But Blizzard does a hell of a lot more damage than orb, my orb is about as good as it can get and its does about 700 dmg, Blizzard on the other hand can ill lots of people in 1 hit.

blizzard will be my secodary attack... im thinkin that Glacial spike or ice blast after i get like 1 hit by blizzard to slow them...but if then have raven frost for example i will just glacial spike the crap otta them...thats my plan...but i dont know what gear to use im thinkin along the lines of...

SS with hel
enigma or skully or tals
storm treks
trang gloves or some crafted gloves
arachnids
maras or tals ammy
and lots of life charms

Still, glacial spike won't hit that easily. Blizzard is even harder, ice blast is patheticly slow. Orb is the best for damage/speed/accuracy balance.

but with enough fcr it wont be that slow and i really wanna do blizzard cuz i have seen lots of PvP blizz sorcs that own

I like blizzard too for cows. It just isn't effective all around without a tank.

Well thats why i will be making getting an act2 nm defencive merc that will use 160/60ias armor and 120/45ias helm and eth botd ghost spear to be my tank...


And i know orb is good and i just wanna make a new sorc and try other things out i alrdy have an orb sorc, and i have a fire sorc too so i just wanna try blizzard out see how i like it and if i dont like it i can always make a new characture :D

orb is most common cause it's foolproof, but it won't make you unstoppable because you will be fragile and you will not be damaging as much. It is still your best idea because glacial spike is impossible to hit and so is blizzard, you would be looking sad if you got helper rushed or guided arrowed. cold isn't my personal preferance anyhow. t-storm is very good with teleport. Blaze really does tons of damage now and it really ticks off melee's
