Just wondered if anyone was looking forward to World of Warcraft coming out soon? My friend is on the Beta program and I just played it. It rocked my socks off, and looks absolutely amazing.

Yuo can download it from eMule or Kazaa, but you can't play without a valid CD key. Tell you what though it looks REALLY good. I started a Dwarf Palladin, and then started mining and stuff, and I became a Blacksmith.

I wanna do Gryphon Riding for just hours at a time =)

It does look so impressive when you fly. The clan system is really good as well.

how much does it cost to go online?

I don't think they've set a price yet, but I imagine it'll be about the same a Everquest.

WoW...like EQ is an MMORPG...that kind of is the same category...Blizz saw that the genre was getting popular so they hoped to get their sales up yet again...but I'm not an EQ fan...WoW looks great though...

WoW shouldnt be any higher than 10 bucks or its popularity will drop.

I see it as if they make you pay monthly to use the game that you paid $50 or so for...then they should just give out the game for free or not charge monthly...I don't want to save money for the game then have to keep putting money aside so I can keep playing the game I already paid for

I have been in the beta of WoW for awhile now and i like it. However I dont like monthly fees. Btw Eq is 13.95 a month same as Uo. I know i have played both of them

The monthly fee for the retail version is supposed to be the same as Eq, so as to compete with it more evenly or something. And no, I didnt have to pay to play the beta for WoW. My friends were invuted to be part and they didnt like it so they passed it on to me

theOnly- Burner! My friends also already have a hacked version of the beta for WoW. free server and stuff. Thats one of the reasons they passed it on to me. Because inorder to get the real beta you had to agree to buy 3 months of it at the low low price of 5.99. They said yes then paid then gave to me. so all good for me. That is IF i buy the full version when it hit retailers. Dont think that will happen. It is not my favorite game. It is too much like all the other mmorpg's out there that you pay for.
