and they thought it would be cool to make a name like "ipod" or other things like that, on the ign forums there have been a shitload of people saying how dissatisfied they are with the name but nintendo insists it will seem good later on..

I dunno, I don't mind the name "Wii" - if you really hate it that much just put a piece of tape over your system and write down Nintendo Rev on it, and then call it a Rev; heh. The gaming on the system is more important than a name given to it, at least thats how I see it.

I wouldn't want a system called "I **** 400 LB TRANNYS AND I CRY MYSELF TO SLEEP AT NIGHT BECAUSE I HAVE NO GIRLFRIEND". Of course that will never happen, but nevertheless name can matter in some situations.
