I got to thinking last night and thought this site could have more music in it like graphics thread. So this is what i perpose: There should be a music talent showoff thread/rate thread. What we would do is show short sound clips of your music talent and then other users would then rate your skill. Of course, this actually depends on how many ppl here actually are musicians, but it would also serve as an attraction to bring more users to the site.

Rules:
1) No spam/off topic posts. Small discussion is allowed.
2) The Music clips must be relatively small. So that too much bandwitdth is not taken. Unless you provide a link outside Blizzsector. (Should be most cases.)
3) No musical racism. This means you will not spam this like 'rock sucks'.
4) Rate the person above your post.
5) No simple ratings, such as 'gj x/10' Be descriptive and add tips/suggestions.
6) Rate fairly. Dont rate poorly just because you dont like the type of music. Rate on the actual musical talent.
7) Must identify if you actually played an instrument or used a program such as Acid Pro.

Any musician can showoff there skills. Whether it be singing, guitar, drums, and any other musicial instrument. Also if this becomes popular it could become its own subforum instead of small talk.

Venom said he could help contol it...and since i suggested it i would also help.

Also feel free to add comments on additions and suggestions.

a nice idea now all it needs is some people to actually post somthing

ya thats why it may need to be modded. and the rules are there but look how many ppl may not follow themm... well i hope this goes through. dont know why nobody is reading this.. >.<

i guees they hate music or just dont follow it as well as you think they do
or maybe they dunno how to do what your asking or maybe they cant recored it onto the comp

i would help in aiding this thread but i suck at music (dunno about making my own ) but i dont have the programs to make my own ...

lol at the very least all you need is a mic and the generic program on all comps which is sound recorder. of course you can go up from there and most musicians would have equipment to record pieces of music. and if ppl dont like it at least they should vote that they dont.... i dont think any1 has actually seen this thread. also the vote is 2 parts first is whether or not you are a musician and the other is if you like this idea or not.

Good idea, I will record some stuff if this succeeds. Also, I suggest we allow people to put digital music. I made a beat thingy with AcidPro. But we also have to say if its from a program or an actual recording.
