ok so this really isnt a scam at all but today i found some 'Imp Stalker' boots and heard that many ppl are stupid and will pay for any boots that have imps on them cuz they dont know what real imps are.

these boots sucked...ROYALLY! they had some random resists (ilke 30% cold, 11 fire) , 10 faster hit recovery and some other stuff and only 24 defense.

i made a game called CHEAP IMPS NOW and almost instantly it was full. i went through 6 of the people and they all either said "those arent imps" and left or just left without saying a word. on the last guy, i put them up and he put up eth exile guilded shield, a highlords ammy, dol rune, and some other not so good stuff. i sat there for a second and he kept puttin stuff up, lol. so before he realized how crappy the boots were i pressed check and he traded me. TALK ABOUT ONE STUPID GUY!!!

i suggest that any of you that find rare boots with the prefix imp but a different suffix than shank, keep them and go trade with them. a friend of mine got 5 high runes out of a pair similiar to the ones i had.

have any of you pulled this as well? if so tell the story

LOL, thats great. gotta love stupid traders. makes you wonder how they got the eth exile in the first place. but why not the suffix of shank?

prefixes and suffixes on rare items are randomly generated, no matter the stats of the item
why Imps and not Shanks? well cuz on west people call them Imps, and half of the people dont even know that they are Imp Shanks

also, where did you find this imp boots? are they that good? doesnt sound so. lol

my bro did the imbue q on a pair of chain boots and got imp shanks, he sold for a cham

lol thats so lucky. if your higher lvl does the imbue quest give better stuff

i got my bros account 4 30 buck and gave most of my stuff (including imp shanks damn it!) for free and kept some 4 myself

not such a bad idea but if you think about it a more efficient way would to join a "I Drop U Drop" game wouldn't you think =D what i'm trying to say is you can get items w/ same name therefore just drop them. i could've done it, i had a ring called Raven Spiral with really cheapy mod but didn't bother to try. But yeah it should work, right. =P
