Hey, I was just wondering if there are any specific programs I need to download and burn movies. Also, where can I get these programs?

Are movies better to download on something such as limewire, or using Shareaza, Azureus, and other Bit torrent downloaders?

Could I use Alchohol 120% to burn movies, or would something like Nero work better?

Do I need to change the file format to anything specific? If so what format, and what do I use to change it?

I just need these few basic things and I should be able to work out any bugs on my own. Thanks.

Usually depends on the setup and dvd burner type. Movies are pretty much similar on the downloading. if its specific ones you can rent, just rent them and make an image of them onto the computer or make a copy/backup. alcohol probably could. never really tried it for movies since i only wanted it for the virtural drive for games. nero takes forever if you dont have the speed and memory. probably better off with windvdcreator or roxio cd/dvd creator deluxe. the programs will format the files itself. takes a bit but it will do it. if your just to copy. try dvdx copy

Download movies with Azureus / uTorrent You'll have to work out where to get them yourself ;) and burn with Nero. I've done well over 80 movies this way so far. Nero might not be the quickest (about 40mins a movie to encode) but I find it easy.

PS: Make sure the movies u download if not DVD ISO are atleast a DIVX dvd rip. Telesync etc are extremely shit quality.

Ok, ty. I'll try your way first Spitfire, since I have the programs (I think I still have Nero), and I completely understand it. I was just wondering if I needed certain file types, or if it would actually work that way lol.
