Ok, I have seen lots of threads between rock and hip/hop...But now I made a thread just for us rockers...Which is your most favorite kind of rock?!

<3 Death, Black, Thrash...

But lately, I've started listening to Mercyful Fate a lot... I don't really know what to call it... Power Metal?

Out of that list, I noted Alternative. However, I believe you may be missing a few types - one that comes to mind is Classical Rock, such as some oldies (which I guess some could be considered pop due to most of their light-heartedness), which I would probably note as my favorite. At the top of that list would probably have to be the Beatles. While I do respect peoples music choices, I'm just not a fan of some of the more heavy metal/emo/black/goth kind of rock cause it kinda overdoes rock for me. Cheers.

I like the kind of rock you can throw at people :p
Getting back on topic, I don't really have a strong preference, although the older stuff had more feeling to it IMO.

In Flames and Soilwork are a style of Death Metal, called the Gothenburg style, since it originated from Gothenburg, in Sweden, with bands such as Edge of Sanity.
