ok well did you open up d2 first and make the char? to start with then we can go from there.

hmm thats odd if you downloaded the file then unziped it and choose hero editor you should not have any problems.. well i am at work right now when i get home ill download it and see if it does it for me.. and ill post it on here if no one has helped you yet..

well i use windows xp too its the best program i think compared to other windows.

it shouldnt have anything to do with ur version of xp. have u downloaded version 8.0 of hero editor first? i think you have to have all the earlier versions first.. download version 8.0 9.0 and then 9.5 and see if it helps any..

i dont think thats right.... i just downloaded .95 and it worked fine for me. I'd say uninstall then reinstall.

I have tried to unistall HE and then install it again, and it still doesn't work =S, but as chicken24 saied I will try to install all previous version of HE.

Doesn't matter now cause it works, dunno why.

God for once get the ****ing version right will you guys!! It's V0.80, V0.82, V0.90, and V0.95Beta, BTW they are all beta. Anyways, I would install 0.90 first. Any other versions before that do not matter whatsoever. By the way what character version where you creating? (ex. 1.10, 1.11, 1.11b, 1.09)
