Hey, what does it mean when it says "Your Connection Has Been Temporarily Restricted From This Realm." for about 4 hours?

ip banned, just dont try logging onto battle net for 24 hours. Or if your on a dynamic ip just reset your modem.

just restart you internet or modem w/e you have its cuase your internet cant read faster enought and it cause's lagg between entering and leaving games so much but well my computer only had 256mb and i added another 256 mb card and i havent had that problem since then. So if you get a chance get another ram card.

Most likely you tried to create too many games in a set time period (MF'ing). The limit FYI is 20 games per hour. Also I believe everytime you try logging on after getting the temp ban you add to the length of time you're banned... so like someone suggested, go do something else for a few hours.

If you change chars too fast or create more than 20 games an hour you'll get your IP banned. The thing with chars happens often to me if I'm muling...pretty anoying...Just get a new IP by reseting your router.

Except not everyone's ISP uses dynamic IP addresses. Therefore even if they reset their routers, they will still recieve the exact same IP from their ISP.

Even still, if you do not know for sure how your ISP assigns your IP's, this is definately worth a shot to get playing that much quicker.

There are some modems that just don't reset. Take my Terayon cable modem for instance, the only way to reset my ip, is to be plugged in at another house connected to the internet. This could be the thing explained up above me.

well i must get really lucky then cuase when ever i get that message i just restart my internet and bamm i am back on... dont know how really but i do know that the amount of games you enter and leave within a certain amount of time affect's it but its all has to be on what connection you have on the internet and how much your comp laggs cuase like i said when i added another 256ram card i have not had realm down in 3 months and i mf everyday enter and leave games within 5 minutes..some times even more cuase of then chicken that easyplay has.

Who adds another 256MB of ram anymore? I thought it was all about buying the 512MB and 1024MB ram cards.. Ah well. My computer is old, uses the old PC100/PC133. Well anyways, my computer has only 256MB of ram in it. Runs fine, though I have like a 1 or 2MB connection so...
