because monsters in there are around lvl 85 and give great drops (the unique monsters do)

if you wanna do a pit run, go to the outer cloister in act 1 (hell) and go backwards out of the church place and follow the path. if you end up in a further area you did it wrong, so go back and take the other path which eventually leads to a hole. its name is the Pit. go in and mf. good drops are usually in the pit lvl 2.

Act 1 - Pit Level 1 (Few Undead; Any Immunity; ~6 Boss Packs)
Act 1 - Pit Level 2 (Few Undead; Any Immunity; ~2 Boss Packs)
Act 1 - Mausoleum (Undead; ONLY Lightning Immunes; ~4 Boss Packs)
Act 2 - Maggot Lair Level 3
Act 2 - Ancient Tunnels (Undead; NO Cold Immunes; ~6 Boss Packs)
Act 3 - Sewers Level 2
Act 3 - Forgotten Temple (Upper Kurast)
Act 3 - Ruined Fane (Kurast Causeway)
Act 3 - Disused Reliquary (Kurast Causeway)
Act 4 - River of Flame
Act 4 - Chaos Sanctuary (Boss - Diablo)
Act 5 - The Worldstone Keep Level 1

as you see, the pit is popular because it would probably be the easiest for most ppl since it is the first place, so runs will be quicker. hope that helped :D

Yep...just go thru the whole thing..kill every enemy..especially the champions..

Yeah...for some reason people are always telling me that they never find anything down there...it just shocks me b/c i always find good sheeit...one tip as well, is if you join a baal chain for instance...just stay with them and do pit runs while they do baal....you'll get good drops there as well...assuming you'll be able to handle the monsteres being a little bit steroided.

but whats the right amount of mf?? 600+?

Aparantly now if you have 500% MF it's the equivilent of having 2000% MF in 1.09 - So no need to go over the top, it's just luck most of the time. You can have 800% and find nothing, or you can have 50% and find something great. People seem to think that if you have godly MF you find godly items, but it's more luck than judgement. MF helps don't get me wrong, but you still gotta prey to lady luck.

The Pit has always been there, they just added a couple of unique monster packs and raised their MLVL to a decent ammount. Oh and pindles MLVL I believe is 89.

hmmm..... Ive heard people saying that u should have either 0 mf or like 400%+ mf for pit runs
cause with 0 you have a better chance of finding godly socket items like eth zerkers or 6 socket ones

is it better to have 0 mf for pit runs?
