ok, im kinda new to this forum. ive been reading around and it seems like you guys know what your doing lol. so my question is what would be the best mf barb build. like stats, skill, and gear. comments are greatly apreciated

barbs are just my fav class, and they're fun to play. i really dont like sorc's lol

hmm...mf barb build...well...there really isnt a specific build for an mf barb...it just basically all depends on your equipment..and considerin full ik adds good mf...there ya go. As for stats goes like this : YOu can go about...3-1-1 per level..which is 3 to str...1 to dex..1 to vit per level..or 2-1-2...personal preference...skills...max battle orders and shout...and put a couple points into battle commands. As for masteries...pick a weapon you're gonna use and stick to it..so if you wanna use a sword (recommended) max sword mastery...then put some points onto natural res..as well as faster run/walk...and i'd say put about...10 points onto the defense one..i forget the name....now you need to choose whether you wanna be a zerk barb w/ ww..or a concentrate barb w/ ww...zerk does good dmg as well as magic dmg...where conc. adds dmg...but also greatly increases defense during the swing...so....yeah..need anymore help..pm me or just repost

'ist' gull, 'topazed' shako(if ure not rich enough use tarn),war trav,chance gloves,goldwrap,6 'ist' shield(u must be rich(!) for this) 2 nagel,and find a good mf ammy.....
how bout that?this is for people who arent rich......(except for the shield whcih requires a little more time and patience finding ists)

Nah dude....you can do much better than that equipment....heres a list of semi cheap stuff you can wear for an mf barb..and btw alfzz...there are alot of mf barbs..maybe you just never ran into em lol...well anywayz....heres a list of good stuff for an mfing barb to wear:

Helm: Ik helm 2 socks with 2 p topazs...or just a simple shako
Armor: If your poor and cant afford enigma, then get atma's wail w/ a p topaz...
Belt: goldwrap works fine
Gloves: any kind of mfing gloves..chance guards are easy to get
Shield: hmm...4 isted shield is tough to get..just make a rhyme shield shael/eth i think runes...
Sword: any sword works fine dont worry bout mf w/ it
Boots: Of course war travs..or for the ppl who cant afford..cow kings are nice
Ammy: any ammy w/ mf..
Rings: Just get nagel rings..20-30 mf each
Charms: just get some 4's 5's 6's or 7 smfc's....

This should result in a total mf of about....anywhere between 275-400...all depending on what you choose between the more expensive stuff or the cheaper stuff...thats a cheap build....now if you're looking for an expensive build try this....

Helm: Ik Helm with 2 p topaz's
Sword: Eth Botd Cb
Armor: Enigma
Boots: War Travs
Shield: SS
Gloves: Chance guards
Rings: dual leech rings w/ mf
Ammy: Dual leech ammy with res and mf
Charms: 7 smfc's
Belt: You can get away w/o using an mf belt here..but if you want to..just use a goldwrap.

i have a MF barb, i use an isted tomb reaver, 4 topaz kraken shell, goldwrap, 2 nagels, 40% ammy, ik boots and helm w/2 topaz, and 25% chancies, with about 7 smfcs (all fivers) and a 37 gheeds. I like usin the barb for pit runs and rushes since barbs are pretty much unbothered by immunes in hell with 1 point into berserk. I'm working on getting him a skudders but for now i very rarely have trouble and have higher MF than most sorcs and don't have to bother with getting a shako which for us poor people is quite hard to do.

I maxed concentrate, bo, shout, 5 iron skin, 5 physical immune, 1 battle command, 5 ww, 1 max stamina, 1 faster run/walk, 1 find ***/item, 1 zerk, the rest into prerequisites and still waiting for lvls. He does the job better for pit/rune runs than any sorc i've ever built and has higher mf to boot. The only bad part is he can't tele, which isn't a problem since he only has to run from the cloister to the pit from there it's best to fight everything you see.

ya, lol, i was amazed when i killed the 4th group of monsters b4 baal with only 16 mf, and i got shako :P

Man, seems like there sure is alot of poor people who're posting..imean getting a shako is tough for some people? man...pays to be rich i guess lol...i have no problem hooking ppl up tho on useast nonladder..just get a hold of me sometime at NoRemorse....got pretty much everything you're lookin for..to a point..

wel....why cant u make a 6 top aarmour?

lol only 4 sockets allowed in armor... 6 sockets are only in weps... but i have a mf baba *quite possibly classic-lingo sry for those who find it annoying* who's fun as hell... just max w/e mastery you want... i'd go about maxing BO and a few into iron skin/shout but here's my uniqueness... i max find item (yes the pop-corpse skill) now i switch out my gf for 2 2xist'd ali-babas, usin ptpz ik's helm and enigma... as well as goldwrap 2 pnagels pchancies ptravs and a 41mf baba ammy and a 39 gheeds... and 9 7mfsc's and he's got about 800 mf... and i can pop superuniques ;):) plus i get to actually kill stuff unlike my weenie sorc who can' only rape hell-meph (damn immunies -_-)

I play on usa east ladder, where finding a shako and such is pretty hard, i've got over 100 pit runs with my lvl 80 neccy who has around 300 mf (which is plenty in the pit) and the best drops i've managed is an ethernal bonehew, non ethernal titans, and an atmas. Sorry if there is any confusion, ladder is alot harder than non tho.
