what one whould u rather have?

PS3. I've invested a lot in ps2 and I don't want those games/work to be unusable because a new system comes out. It's too much money.

are there a couple threads on this already anyways ps3 by far for me there is no competiton

I would get a ps3 and the new Nintendo. Something about playing downloading and playing most old nintendo games would make me happy. Before someone says something about the controller, please be aware that you can plug your gamecube paddles in and use them AFAIK.

I say the X-Box 360, why? Well for one many have already come out and said the power difference between the 360 and the PS3 is almost non existant. Despite what you may have heard from Sony or Microsoft neither one will be quite super computer quality. So why the 360? Because Sony is offering an open online service...no fee! Yay! But wait...that means the individual games can have their own subscription fees? And I have to create a different account for every single game? Oh woe is me!

Also, I only ever use my PS2 for Final Fantasy games while I have twice as many games I play regularly on my X-Box.

Heh, sadly enough I just yesterday baught a PS2 FOR the final fantasy games, among others. XD

In any case , PS3 just has a better effect on me, and I never liked the origonal Xbox or the demo's I've tried of the Xbox 360

Pyrocrow, just because a new system comes out, they aren't unusable, you can still play your Ps2. Hell, I still play my SuperNintendo and I have a PS2 and a GameCube.

Anyway, I'm getting a Rev and an Xbox360.

I'm getting a Rev because I'm a die-hard Nintendo fan and I love the exclusives. And Xbox360 because for some reason, I never bought an Xbox, but when I'd go to my friend's houses and played it, I loved it. For some reason, Ps3 just doesn't excite me, and I HATE that controller.

I'm probably going to buy all three of them, Ps3 last and Nintendo first. Mainly because I love Nintendo and their system will probably cost the least.

Xbox 360 is starting too look as if it stole too many good franchises so there will definatly be a game that makes me get it. I was gunna get 360 first for Oblivion but then I heard that you only get 30 days free xbox live with the $400 package.
Then the Revolution I gota get for Zelda, Super Smash bros, the old games, and I think the controller would be fun for shooters. I'll probably buy whatever they release for Mario and Starfox as well.

if u think a ps3 or xbox 360 can compete with the motion detection controller of a revolution, with available (usless since it detects ur hand movement) analog add-on
and lets not kid ourselves, the ps and xbox controllers really really suck, how could u play a first person shooter with those peices of crap controllers.

why would u buy a ps3 or xbox360, its merely a graphical upgrade to your old systems, get yourself a new video card for 400$ instead of a console, and play the oh-so-many PC games wich are way better than those crappy games, who here can say halo on xbox was better than the pc version without lieing about it

nintendo revolution. better system, better games, no question in my mind which to get.

Controls on these systems are nothing after 5min-1 hour of practice then practically ur a master, always has been like that with me.longest for me to master when i first played Halo2.

i like Nintendo cause of classic Mario games and sis wants games to play so no choice

i love the old school nintendo games but the ps3 pwns all and peeps talkinmg about the ps controls look at the xbox control it is fat as shit and so hard to use it compared to the ps1 and ps2 controlers so ps3pwns all

revo for me since i am a die-hard nintendo fan and the game will always be fun and the GC starfox was a serious disapointment for me ,olny 10 lvls that were fairly short
and the ps3 controler will be the hardest controler to master by far ,on the ps there is a controler just like the ps3's it was just plain od to hold ,so to the ps3 buyers gl with that boomerang!!

The first Starfox on Gamecube was great I think, the second was a disapointment to me to.
