What does the bug do? I think i read somewhere that it ads 50% ed. Am i right?

So an eth perf sacred armor would be 900 def and with soc recipe you would get 50% ed?

Then it would be 1350 def. And if you roll a perf stone it would have 5265 def!!

no thoise can still happen be ause they are hell armors but just less likely

people need to get the facts right, It DOES work, it was not patched i used it myself a week ago to make a 4100 defence ethereal stone loricated.

Find an ethereal armor. Use the cube recipe to make it have sockets. Check for the recipe on Arreat Summit. Adding socket's increases it's defence by 50%. Now make Your stone. Voila! You have an etheral armor with psycho defence.

show a pic, show what version it is in the pic. I thinkthis is in 1.09.

quite difficult to show the version number since when you open a inventory window it covers the data in the corner. hmm. Best i can do it a picture showing the d2 loader window. And it was first discovered in either v1.10 or 1.11 i dont know if it existed in v 1.09.

well bugs exist! its good we ahve them 2. just make sure to keep it safe and if ur trading for a bugged item, make sure it isnt a Dupe.

Bugged items are basically the same item but with different stats like Valor or Valk helm or Tals armor which they are from patch 1.08-1.09

so all u have to do to make mad defense eth armors is to find one and socket it and it will automatically have 50%ed? Plus runewords of course ><

yes, but you have to be sure to socket using the cube. Reaper, you're probably talking about the eth/indestruc bug. That only occured between patch transitions, i think 1.08 and 1.09.

instead of making someone else retype it, you could re-read it....its really not that hard to figure out. use cube receipe to socket eth armor and it gets a bonus to its defense

It's not a bug. You are not exploiting the game in any way. Blizzard have meant it to be like that. It's like saying that stacked auras are bugged.

There is no longer a socket recipe with the cube. they took it out with the 1.10 patch years ago. You can however unsocket any item in the cube with a fal rune a tome of idnetify and the item but you lose all runes or gems or jewels that were in it.
