There used to be a way to do it by releasing your ip address and letting it get reassigned so you had a new ip adress.. i don't think this works anymore, but i think that is about the only thing you can give a try.. Used to work for sure about midway through last ladder when i played...

You can change it but.. You need some sort of program, I have also heard of turning off your modem for about 15 minutes, and then turning it back on. Your computer must be on through this 15 minutes.

someone slap this boy with a spelling stick please. and are you sure its your IP thats banned and not your cd key? also are you running directly off your modem or through a router? if your running straight you might invest in a cheap router with a firewall this will give you a new IP and protect your system a little better, if your already running thru a router then try running straight off the modem cuz that will give you a new ip address as well.

sometimes i get IP bans.... and they used to get progressively worse as i got more within a week ( an hour, three hours, six hours, one time it went for like 30 hours). Now when i get them, I fix it by restting my IP. If you're getting the messag that your account has been temporarily dsiabled or something like that(comes up on character select screen) here's what you do. Just shut your computer off, unplug your modem and router/hub (if you've got one) and plug everything back in. Give your modem time to power back up before rebooting your computer again. Works every time for me.

mine makes a random number witch isnt even the format of a real ip address so no-one will ever get affected! (unless they change the format of ip addreses)

where can i get this ip shaker. i have a good share of ip bans myself. oh yeah, and the whole modem reboot does not work for me, oh and i have already know of taht. Tell me, does it work for cable modems?

well if ur banend hers the rules

1.) 1st offense - ur cd-key banned for month
2.) 2nd offense - Cd-Key banned forever

i dunno if ur talkin about ur cd-key banned or if u cannot log onto b.net but to prevent this, delay to time ur bot makes a new game. Usually if u make games too fasta fter leaving 1, ull get a connection intteruppted and u cannot log on from 5 min- 48 hours

but since u said 3 weeks or i dunno if this is happening for 3 weeks, just slow down to games ur bot makes

and if ur banned, u cannot get unbanned unless u convince Blizzard somehow. Bot's violate Battle.Net's rules in playing so if ur banned, U CANNOT BE UNBANNED unless u convice b.net but if this happened 2 times, u cannot be unbanned forever

If you're cd key got banned, good luck trying to play. If your ip just got banned, you don't need a fancy program or change your ip. Heck, if you read the blizzard Read Me. Well anyways, all you have to do is:

1. exit b.net
2. delete bncache
3. get back online

ok this is how you get ip banns off you its quite simple actualy.

1. go to start run
2. type in regedit
3. go to hkey_local_machine
4. go to software
5. there should be a folder above blizzerd entertainment name battle.net
6. deleat that whole folder

basicly all they do is send a packet that adds a reg file on your computer to stop that computer from gaining access to battle.net

well so far it worked for ma and all my freinds that i play with so it might help you. have fun and enjoy you guys. i hope this also helps you out.

The regedit method works to remove a temp ip ban. However, it only works once. After you delete the battle.net folder it doesen't come back, thus the next temp ban you get can't be removed via this method.

Do you know of a way to bring it back, or another method around this?
