What the ****?! What's wrong with B.net these days! When I log in to play a game, I get these massive hour long (okay.. exaggeration) lag freeze things! I can watch my dog run 20 circles around the house before the lag stops, in which, I will always be guaranteed a laggy death. Thanks for losing my xp !

I don't think they will. But in response to their complaints, B.net will probably release a fix for this in 1.11b when they fix a few glitches and the fail to join bullshit.

my frds said they launched out the patch 1.11, and that it was a beta they just launched, not sure if its true.

Anyways, I heard from someone that the lag was due to them releasing a new patch, but the patch was out this monday already, and I'm still feeling the horrible lag I did when I played last week. When do you think they'll release 1.11b or whatever? I don't think I can stand the game while it lags like that.

I've got DSL.. I play SC on B.net too and it's fine, no lag. CS - fine IP, no spikes. It's just Diablo that has been freezing up on me in the last 2 weeks.

And Coma, I would think they skim here everyonce in awhile to check if dupes/exploits are released. Just not as often as EoN or something. And I too have lag spikes although it's not that often and I don't really care.

ever think its ur computer? try getting some RAM, that will clear up the lag, it did for me anyway. i used to sit in a corner of baal run games while it froze and it would unfreeze back and everyone already went to the next game. then i got some more RAM for my computer and it runs perfectly.

i got 512 ram and it still lags, its something with the connection to b.net.

I have a gig at PC3200 and it lags every once in a great while. It's not bad, though, people are just picky.

i have a stock dell p3 :P i know It OWNS it OWNS...but i dont lag that much im choppy at like baal/trav

maybe ur not running on 32 bit? that also happened to me after they so called "fixed" my computer from a virus. they had it on 24...other than that its probably ur area

also depends on which graphics mode you pick..

The video card point is a very valid one...its all about bandwidth and the usage.
If your video card sucks...it will show up when running too high of settings...you could have a super computer processor but if your VGA is slow your game will be slow...also...about the DSL / Cable portion...if you live in an area where there are a lot of ppl using it...that will also slow your speeds...b/c remember everything someone does on the game has to be sent to you...and if the lines are already packed...that information isnt going to get to you all that quickly....lag has as much to do w/ the ppl playing in the games as it does w/ the bandwidth of your connections.
