i heard from my friend tat wc2 has sea units as well...
curse blizzard to remove the sea battles... so wc3 is left wif land n air...

Nah, i didnt played it yet, saw some screenshots of it, looked pretty cool. though the grapqics sucked.. but ive played WC1, lol.

Warcraft 3 didint really get rid of water units, the frozen throne has them but not on melee maps.

I liked starcraft much better then warcraft 2, warcraft 2's AI was dumb and clumsy. They could barly find their way around walls. So I'd say try starcraft first.

Okay to tell u the basics, Wc2 has horrible graphics....but it has alot funner things in it......not like Wc3 at all.....when i first played Wc3 after playing Wc2 for so long i thought Wc3 waS CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!Wc3 has a horrible ladder system and ur only aloud on land...no water.....WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!!!

He said 'funner', not 'funnier', MiVeC. Also, I agree that the WC2 AI was dumb and clumsy, whereas SC's was sharp and innovative. Starcraft didn't have water combat, but really.. who cares? It's the future, there's Carriers instead. In my opinion, Starcraft was a masterpiece that could possibly be lost in Starcraft 2, even though I'm anticipating it more than you can imagine.

Well, never played wc2 but it seems that sc was better. AND, you can fight on water, in tft =D. i'm not sure about roc but you can make a custom map with battleships n stuff n they can blow stuff up on land or water =)

Wc2 was the best because it had the water battles and oil barrels and stuff like that...so much fun

Theres a Starcraft 2???!!! I must be starting to get outdated on games....

Starcraft = WC2 > WC3 + TFT

I got to admit, starcraft was one of the best games out there......It still beats alot of games now

Wc2 i think beats Wc3 any day in just the pure way of how it was with the water and the maps where better also :)..........Wc2 has such less detail but was so much better

yea i played dune2000 b4... but lost the disc.... its not really like SC.... u need to build the pavement b4 building the buildings on them....
theres a sucessor to tat game: "emperor: battle for dune"

dune 2000 was very old too...but i also found that in a ditch on my street haha......I will find it somewhere

Warcraft 2 was my favorite game for the longest time. I picked up the Bnet Edition not too long ago... I might look for the disc and start playing that again if I can. Anyone up to game with me?

I played WC2 for hours on end when I was a kid... never got tiring. Then I got into other games (dune 2000 included. ;)) And certain TV shows (DragonBall Z... I was a freak) and they pulled me away from WC2. I picked up the BNE about 2 years ago, and tossed it to the side. I think I may have given it to a friend.

It was only like 10 bucks, I'm sure I can get another. Let's see if it's worth it soon. Lets get some more people here.
