Dual Dreaming Dragon {Ladder ONLY}


[Note: I have not even tested this build. This is just some random idea.]



Character:





Stats:
Strength: Just enough for gear with other gear equipped (120-150 should do)

Dexterity: enough for 65% block at the least with 70-75% optimal

Energy: none

Vitality: all points go here after strength and dexterity are taken care of



Gear: (lots of rune words to follow so beware even if they are commonly used)

Helm: Shako/Bone Visage Dream with perfect resist and faster hit recovery

Shield: Troll Nest Dream with perfect resist and faster hit recovery

Armor: Archon Plate Fortitude with perfect resist, of course (get an enigma if you want to attempt to bot this bad boy)

Belt: Nosferatu's Coil or Verdungo's Hearty Cord

Boots: Ethereal Sandstorm Trek preferably with perfect strength and vitality. The poison resist does not have to be perfect, although it is nice in hell.

Amulet: Mahim Oak Curio it’s got everything this build needs and hence perfect

Left Ring: Raven Frost preferably with perfect dexterity

Right Ring: This completely up to you I would use a Bul-Kathos' Wedding Band or Stone of Jordan

Gloves: Steel Rends preferably with perfect strength and perfect enhanced damage

Weapon: Ethereal Breath of the Dying Berserker Axe (if you have the strength to carry this your all good with strength)



Skills:

Sacrifice: 20

Zeal: 20

Defiance/Holy Shield: 20 (which you max is up to you. I would go Holy Shield for the defense boost but defiance early on can be a life saver)

Fanaticism: 20

Prerequisites and Holy Shield/Defiance get the remainder





Mercenary: (THE most important part of this build)



Gear:

Armor: Archon Plate Dragon

Helm: Harlequin Crest

Shield: Troll Nest Dragon

Weapon: Ethereal Breath of the Dying / Last Wish (if you want the might aura for even more damage)

So the theory behind this is that it stacks all of the Holy Shock auras for like a bajillion damage? A good idea- and the ebotdz takes care of lightning immunes cuz it's still sick damage. I want someone to test this, I don't have the time.

For the most part that is the idea. Get rushed through hell and power leveled to 80 by hell baal runs and/or CS runs once you have the equipment all stored up and then go to town. With fanta and all that I suspect something like 10-15k max damage if you dont use Last Wish. With last wish the damage should do a good jump.

Yes the name is in reguards to the fact the build uses two dreams and two dragon rune words. Look it sounded cool okay.

ummm sinner, ur holy shock aura is going to affect ur merc right? well if it does then ur merc is onyl going to get effects from that and not holy fire, they dont stack in aura wise, jsut with adding dmg to ur merc, unless thats all ur using it for

both aura's are just used for the +fire/light dmg to attack nothing else. I could care less about the additional ping damage every 2-4seconds that it does as long as it adds the damage to the melee attack. If I have read it all right that will happen.

I never said that the idea was completely original. I got the idea after seeing pants telemental sorc using dual dreams. The difference here is the use of dragon and last wish. I wont do the crazy 47k damage like his sorc but I should end up with a fairly lean mean PvM'ing machien.

Pretty much he is as close to glass cannon as you can get in a zealer without being a glass cannon, to steal a phrase from another member. Zerker kills all fire/light immunes while the fire/light kills all phys immunes, a weakness of alot of pure zealers. Holy shield will hopefully help make up for the complete lack of defense almost while fanta and zeal will provide a nice bunch of ar after the +stat items pump dex. With a fair amount of +5% ar sc's he will have perf res's in hell also. The icing on the cake would be to fill the inv with +1 pally skillers an a perf anni and the rest 5% all res charms.

aight, but im nto even positive that u will get boht +dmg to weop, u might onyl get the holy shock one, but if u do u should do soem nice dmg, and doesnt some of the holy shock synergies add dmg to hoyl shock?

1 intelligence point to dyna. yes a3 mercs can use shields but their cast mercs so give them like perf umed vipermagi perf fcr spirit and a perf fcr spirit sword and not sure what helm.

His merc build is messed up we all know this already. He should use a merc with Dragon Dream and Pride for the Conc. Have him be a might merc. Instead of maxing Fanat use a Beast and max conviction. SO now you have max Conviction, nice conc fanat and might, 2x holy shock auras on you, shock+fire with merc, You would be unstoppable in theory. but this build would require like a billion runes. Hell if you wanted to you could use a Defiance or freeze merc with infinity on it, while tossing on a Lastwish and maxing fanat. That means you would have Might Fanat Conviction Shock Defiance for your pally himself and Fanat Might Convic Shock Flame Defiance for your merc. All a matter of tastes.
