Also, so we can offer tips and strategies for PVP characters. Might be alot like Character development, but pure PVP.

I'm sure we do. There are a few big duelers like Fuggle and I. I also believe Keitaro duels frequently. Even if there aren't alot of people into PVP, maybe making this subforum will allow people to "see the light" so to speak. Personally, PVP is the only reason I still play D2. I have one mfing character, and I only have that just so I can find more stuff to deck out my PVP chars with. I have my telemental sorc, and she is the complete goddess of PVP (as you can see in the screenie). I have a few other characters planned as well. If we can get this forum running, we'd be able to post our pure PVP builds and our own personal dueling strategies, if we have them.

Are not the PVP builds listed in the Character Development stickies for each character already?

And yes, but we could always move the pvp builds over to this forum. Takes a minor amount of work, and I'd be willing to do it.

Huh...moving the builds almost seems wasteful but having a place to set up PvP duels is not that bad of an idea. You could even go so far as to set up a "private" PvP ladder system and have rankings and such, judges of course would have to be assigned to "oversee" any ladder duels. That might be a good idea as well.

That would work, but it's not exactly my idea. I just wanted a nice place to post duel requests and pvp builds. Maybe this ladder thing could actually happen, though... hmm.

It would cetainly bring out all the overly competitive people in D2:LOD which would mean more people using the PvP forums and thus keeping them "alive" so to speak.

I think if you could implement the ladder along with starting the PvP forum it would be great.

I've already talked to Cheshire about this... I mostly made this thread to see what other people think. But I'm going to talk to him about this ladder business, as well.

Anyways I might contemplate participating if there is a ladder PvP for D2:LOD. Only thing is we would need one for non-ladder and ladder players on all the realms. It could become rather cumbersome actually now that I have thought it out more.

Yeh I voted for yes for a PvP subforum; i myself don't really PvP (besides having formerly pwned fuggles fireclawer with my old sorc's inferno) at all so i wouldn't have a real use for it but i'm sure that many people here would probably appreciate it here. So yeh, good idea Pant (|O--<

I say it should be put up. And if the ladder thing works out... it will bring a lot of new members. ;)
