use d2jsp yamb and make a lightning sorc. u find an ist every 300 or so countess kills.


and ive gotten ist from the countess on manual mfing, cham from a champion carver on tower lvl 5, and ist from botting countess

highest that can drop is a Lo rune in hell, i believe, and i've gotten as high as lum and lem...that's about it.

So is Ist the best that can be had from the Countess?

no a lo rune is... but i think the countess's minions can drop zod... and i cant config yamb right now ken... but i could in a few days or so

I have had a few ist's and about 5 guls of countess . and ya the lightning sorc is the best sorc that way to avoid RDs you can do a run of pindle ,eld,shenk,threshsocket and last but not least countess in under 3 mins just set up a snagit just for your sorc to pick up leet things and high runes or just high runes.

ok, next question... where is everyone finding the high runes. Is there something I can do to improve the chances of getting higher than an ist?

Nope, nothing you can do. MF doesn't affect rune drops - You just have to be lucky.

yeh so far, i've found 2 ists out of like 70 countess runs (all manual of course); 1 um too.

How long should a bot be taking to do a countess run? and does that tiem avoid realm down?

this off topic but jedi how long it take u to do those runs? and dont u get bored and tired of it?

i usually do the runs in groups of like 5 or 10 so it really takes no time at all w/a sorc to tele there, then i let my merc kill her off (i'm meteorb) and i'm done. it just takes persistance, but you'll get lucky eventually and find an ist.

even know there probably alot of these posts i would have to say the best ive got is 4 puls...

1 pul 3 um and 1 ist in a 8 hr period is the best i did.

I set min. game time to 120 seconds. Do I need more time? And also, is yamb automatically config'd to pick up ko?

I know you can up runes in ladder, so can i just make a crap sorc, and bot in norm and just cubing el's?

Except I don't know how to configure to pick those up.

u need min 180 seconds to avoid a r/d, and u might have to set yamb to pick up ko.
