ok, i just tried this mod for d2 that i found out about on bnet's forums...so i finally get the damn thing downloaded...took about 3 days:blank: ...and i put the files in my d2 directory and everything...i boot up d2..and the thing doesnt work...so im like, oh well, no big deal...so i attempt to remove all the mod files out of my d2 directory, and when i try to log onto bnet to play, it says sum bs like "battle.net cannot identify your version"...and i dont have reg d2 discs, i borrowed my friends, i only have my own expansion disc so it will b a while till i can re-install...anyone know a way i can fix this without having to re-install?
if not, could somebody tell me all the files they have in their d2 directory please..maybe i missed something....and it's gotta be sumone that doesnt have any mh or any hacks/extra files in the directory....REP POINT TO BEST HELP

If you overided any files when you moved the mods to the D2 directory then you will have to reinstall. Always backup anyfiles you override for just that reason.

Yea mods override some files so unless you make backup's you got to reinstall. Thanks Tyler for rep.

Try reading what's called the "ReadMe". That may get you somewhere.
