Well I was remaking my Zealot because the original wasn't very good.. and i was thinking should i use fortitude the new runeword or some other kind of armor . If you would like to tell me your suggestions they'd be greatly appreciated. :)

for nonladder, i think coh, depends if ur pure melee vs melee or whatever... but ya i guess fortitude is also nice for zealers

one of the inexperienced zealot's common mistakes is to use CoH. the defense is pathetic. it's only useful when dealing with elemental/psn dmg, and u usually don't see a lot of that from zealots. do keep in mind that there is no single best armor. fortitude is good, but i've beaten fortitude zealots before and i used upped shaft, not to mention it was my crappy ladder zealot.

i'll list the more common viable zealot armor choices:
stone
enigma
fortitude
duress
eth prudence
eth zodded gladiator's bane
eth zodded templar's might
eth steel carapace
eth zodded arkaine's valor
leviathan
upgraded shaftstop

archon plate has a much higher base def than most elite armors (524 def), and only has a str req of 103. i would use it over dusk shroud (467 def).

a zealer should want high AR aswell. i dun think any of those armours have enhanced ar. armour defence is good but its the holy shield that matters but id use fortitude

fortitude/levi are my choices.

Do you know what helm to wear? ? I've gotten replues to gilluames with cham and Coa But Is the runeword Dream a good choice?

Coh for PvM, and Eth stone for PVP, unless vs caster.. then CoH

if azael is right then i guess eth zoded templar's might is best for pvp and fort is best for pvm

helm...cham/ber coa, for anyone who might freeze you, or otherwise ber/ber coa for melee w/o cold capability, for more dmg reduce. maybe even a 40/15? idno, i've never had a zealot worth a dump.

fortitude is another newer runeword, and it's mainly known for its very high enhanced damage, favored by zealers and any meleers.

+ To Life (Based on Character Level)

griswold's set isn't really powerful enough, and it doesn't warrant enough powerful mods and skills, so it's not used anymore in the face of the later runewords and uniques. i hope that helps you, kurups.

Eth zoded templar isnt working for me dude It kinda istn worth all the str so my new pally build is as follows critism greatly appreaciated :) Eth zoded Deathcleaver. Fortitude, Steelrends, highlords, eth exile or Pheonix not sure , Dream and fhr and attack rating sc's .
