I'm new to the whole character editing thing but decided to give it a try due to losing a file on a character I spent two weeks developing by game play. Hence I wanted to build a new character up to the same stats roughly. I downloaded the zonfire editor for version 1.10 but have no idea how to work it. Do I have to extract the file to a special location or something. Are there any tutorials out there to help me out? I did goof around a bit but it would not bring up my saved character files for a new character I created. i also see some files from my old original character but don't know why they are not kicking in and being read by the game. Any help would be awesome.

u should use the hero editor instead, or at least thats what i have recently found. I am new too, but being that i dont have hack - type knowedge, i found it very simple to accomplish the different things or at least get the jist of what i wanted for my characters. trial and error is the only way.

Thanks, I'm using Udie too right now with decent results but haven't been able to get used to Hero editor yet. I'm peaved because I managed to loose my Horadric cube somewhere and can't find it or figure out how to get it back.

uhh if its the horadric cube in the game, just go back to act2. if its the horadric editor then just redownload it.

I went back to act two in the game but it would not give me the cube again. Wasn't it in the sewers where you fight Radament? I also tried to use Udie Too to change the act to unsolved but could not figure it out. I'm going to try using hero editor today and see what I can achieve.

If you don't have one and kill the council they drop one.
