what is the best way to get started....making new chars that are good or start off trying to magic find and get items before you start making good characters?:wacky:

Every time i start from scratch with no friends i ask VERY politely in trading channels for items
just whisper people gently and they will respond. Usually takes 15 people before some1 responds.

But after you start getting items would you go for items that would help you in finding better items or would you start trading for items....?

Lets say im making a barb, then i would trade the items to get a better and stronger barb, and not get MF items. As u get higher lvl the items will come automatically from baal drops and etc.

hmm that makes sense... but i always played the way that i had to mf to get what i wanted because everyone seems to be so greedy now a days. Lol this is my third different time playing diablo again and it changes so much everytime i play..

Last time I had to completely start over, I just politely posted my problem on DCLONE.org (IRC) and somebody ended up giving me an entire set of MF gear for free. :D

Yeah I had to start over recently. But I met two nice people who gave me gear and rushes. I dont know how hard it would of been for me if no one helped out.
