Yeah Hellsing is right, we need to expand. Diablo isnt just cutting it anymore.
Starcraft2 is coming out and people are going to look for forums, a place to discuss strategies and such.
Soooo Why not us? We are already the number 1 Diablo2 forums whats stopping us from being the number 1 Blizzard forum?

I think we need the have the Starcraft II up pretty soon to catch the new wave of players. The sub-forums are almost too small for people to see too.

It just seems everytime we get a potential new member they get ran off by everyone.

Is that so? I do remember this group of new members coming in, and knows everything half-ass, thinking they are right, posting copied guides from old websites claiming to be their own, with unreliable information. Those weren't very good members.

As a member here, I rarely visit any more. D2 is sucking lately and I lag all the time, the drops suck or maybe I just get bored faster... This site used to be visited by me daily, posted on occasionally.... I don't know how to make it better. Where is Pam? Is Starcraft any good? I might try it. WOW? I have a couple friends playing WOW that want me to come over but I am a cheap a$$ and haven't yet. Almost everyone I knew playing D2 stopped playing and it is a bicth making new, trustworty friends. Too many jerks playing D2 now, can't trust most of them....

I will keep looking and hoping that things get better. I will be here for a while longer, I would love to see this site the way it was... and that really wasn't that long ago...

Honestly, I think that our own Median community + server would be a great idea. Most people have been playing D2 for YEARS. They've experienced the game in every possible aspect that it is possible to experience it in. People want something new, and from what I've heard, Median seems to be pretty whack.

Why not give it a go?

D2 is dying, and there's not much to discuss about d2.

JSP has a big trading community, and a medium sized pvp community, that's what we don't have.

We just have a large d2 forum, we are like a small village with a farm, jsp is like a town with shops, restaurants, bars, clubs, etc.

Or we can play Wow private server? My little brother always plays it. Theres instant 70 servers with free items or Blizz-like servers.

If the site evolves and i get the time to put up all unit data etc etc, no doubt the forums will just redirect to a Starcraft 2 section here.

Well yea I agree on expansion and I have thought to myself WoW but there just so many updates and information to be had it almost seems impossible unless someone extremely well versed in WoW helps me out.

Ok allow me to address a few issues here.Pam hasn't GONE anywhere.....except to the store and post office. Ahem..I have made several posts recently that seem to have gone poof.
I would also like to point out,that some games keep the interest of people,even over an extended time period,from when the game was new.

Otherwise Twister and Monopaly would be in big trouble.The primary purpose for thia site was Spit's passion for gaming in general,and D2 in particular. I "grew up" on this site when I was caught up in Spit's desire to help others understand and enjoy this game.

For me being here had nothing at all to do with D2,and everything to do with the people I have come to know.
A game site can be made by many talented people,that is not the issue.A forum is only as fun as it's members.I log in to read new posts,tell my Mom's jokes,Mod if needed,and aggravate Fuggy if at all possible.
To be quite honest the only reason I stay is Spit.I count him as a friend and if I can do anything at all to help...he knows I will.

I wont comment on anything remotely resembling a tech answer or suggestion. (yah I'm laughing too)

but I WILL venture to note,that changes are often good things.It attracts new people,and ignites and rekindles interest for seasoned gamers.

As for the Starcraft2 forum I will help if you guys need so call upon me if you want my help.
I think the forum will grow with time, as for the D2PK like server I think it will be a success as well.

I am totally for the idea for a starcraft 2 forum, very happy to see purchases of them. As for median/d2pk servers, I think it probably wouldn't be a good idea considering that no one plays d2 anymore. If we want our community to grow, we must somehow promote ourselves through bigger games such as WoW and SC2, and somehow find some crazy hack or something. Of if someone is super generous, they could buy up all the dupes on ebay and pray that one of them work and release it to all members with 1000+ posts
