The points system is not likely to come back. If it did, then what would be the use of it?

Look the points system is not in place atm because there is no updated/working version for the current v-bulltin version.

its a system where you can gain points for certain things. i think we had it for forum gold, but the mods abused it.

Well from the last implementation it wasn't abused really(no more than on any other forum) just got phased out because of the updates on v-bulltin, and the points system couldn't keep up.

Wtf are you talking about? It got ****ed up because of the lottery thing. If you won that you had about 1,000,000,000 points at your disposal while everyone else had like 2k. The original reset was because Dynafrom managed to horde so many points that he was able to buy everything. That was the only time that points actually worked like fg.

Yah we would have to earn it the old fashion way...which was to post like a mother.

It's what I did .
But the lotto was unfair, because to do that you needed 1k points to **** off with, so the newer or lesser posting members at the time couldn't do it. All the people with that much could do it as much as they want, then win, and have 50K +.

I have been meaning to get all the Mods and our elusive Admins together to re-write the rules for implementation.It will have to be done in a thread,however,because all of us together at once just aint likely...hell more like wishful thinking.

The point system isn't really very helpful, it just made people want to spam for points to buy a gift or glowing username.

Yeh she was the one who wanted to get the rules rewritten so she was in charge of that being the E-Secretary; I merely threw out a suggestion. Who knows if it'll actually work - we'll see. ~jedi

No , he posted in the thread I started in Admin.and suggested we co-ordinate how to get together on MSN.We wont all be able to be there at once,but God help us if we leave out the cat.
