Good Strafe-Zon Damage?

Can someome plz tell me what is decent Damage for Strafe without using 290's. I know you can get 8K using a whole inventory of 290's but im not using any. So if there are any Strafe-Zons out there, Please tell me what is good damage and what equipment you are using. Thank you in advanced.

faith fort gores 2x 20 ravens, vamp gaze, dracs, nofs, highlords, bout 5 100 psndmg sc's, 2 bow gc's, 2 passive gc's, i get about 5k strafe dmg maybe more

While you use strafe I am going to assume taht you are PvM. So, the real build should be Wf or Brand, with a merc with a Faith. Or if you want faith a A2 Might Merc with Pride for conc. I haven't tested dmg but it should be good enough.

Yeah....I have a Faith matriarch bow for faster speed but, my merc has Pride. Thank you everyone for all of your input. it has really helped me alot. One last question about the psn sc's though. Does the psn from the sc's stack with each hit or does it just start the damage over from every last hit and not stack?

Here is a quote from the Arreat Summit:

For Poison Damage, what does 'X damage over Y seconds' mean?
It does X damage total over its duration, Y seconds. It does not do X damage every second for Y seconds.

Does Poison Damage stack?
No. No poisoning effects stack. If the damage potential of a poison attack is greater than the damage remaining from an already applied attack, the new attack will cancel out the old one.

So if i have 10x 290's then my attack will do an extra 2900 damage over 4 seconds (or however long the duration is on 290's) right?

Your attack will do an extra 2900 dmg over that many seconds, but if you hit them twice in 4 seconds, you will not do 5800 dmg. Instead the poison damage that they will take will be set to 2900 again.

For example: You hit them with guided arrow. After 1 second, they take 700 poison damage. If you hit them after 1 second, the 2900 from your second hit will not add onto the 2200 from your first one. Instead, the poison damage they will take will only be from your second attack (2900 over 4 seconds), so your total damage from 2 hits would be 3600.

I use max damage / ar charms instead of psn on my bowa and they work great. And if you are going for damage, a p up'd buriza does more than faith. I also have 4x 15 res gc in my inventory (no skill gc's) cuz bowas have crap res as I'm sure you've noticed. I use:

120/45 diadem
1600 28 res BW Fort
200ed Up'd Buriza
cat's eye
2x 20 dex 240+ar ravens
tgods
crafted gloves with 20ias, kb, dex, and str
gores

I'd like to use a Treachery armor for the venom, fade, and 45ias but I'd lose mucho res and def - dunno. Now I just need to trade for a pride for my merc

So in saying all this, could you show in stats, gear, skills in how to get 5k+ DMG on your strafe bowzon?
